Step into the magical world of Oz as 70 of our talented Middle School students bring this beloved tale to life in The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition, a delightful, family-friendly, approximately 60-minute, G-rated musical.
Join Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through the Land of Oz, determined to reach the Emerald City, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz will help them get home. Of course, along the way, Dorothy encounters witches (both good and bad), Munchkins, talking trees, and many other characters. But most importantly, she forms unforgettable friendships with a Scarecrow wishing for a brain, a Tin Man yearning for a heart, and a Lion longing for courage. Through trials and triumphs, they’ll discover that the greatest magic lies in friendship, self-discovery, and the belief that there’s no place like home.
Before each family performance, enjoy a special pre-show treat from our Limelights Program (Middle School Drama 5). Twenty-two spirited 5th-grade students will present an original prequel revealing how the Wizard became so “wonderful.” Complete with two lively choreographed dance numbers, this performance is sure to captivate and delight.
The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition was designed in conjunction with iTheatrics and all materials are provided by Concord Theatricals.

- Tickets are $5/student; $10/adult
- Performance Dates: Thursday, February 27, 6:30 PM & Saturday, March 1, 1:00 PM
- Seating is general admission; the doors will open 20 minutes before each performance
