Team Detail

  • Ice Hockey – Coed, V

    2019 - 2020
    Head Coach: Chris Baer

SCH’s Blue Devils ice hockey team competes in the Independence Hockey League. The league includes Germantown Academy, Episcopal, Haverford, ANC, and Pennington.

The program allows players from novice to junior A to participate. Players are able to play full travel hockey, as all practices and games are after school. In our short existence, we have placed many players in collegiate hockey programs, including an NCAA Division I candidate.

The members of our program pride themselves on being accountable, dedicated, and unselfish. This emphasis on teamwork provides the foundation for success—not only in hockey but in the classroom and in life as well. We celebrate individual accomplishments within the context of the collective effort, and we provide a rigorous yet balanced daily regimen that ensures skill development.
