SCH Academy's Summerside Camps runs over 30 different weekly options ranging from sports and arts to coding and technology. Campers, Pre-K through grade 8, have access to our 62-acre campus including Summerside's new home base, the state-of-the-art McCausland Lower School and Commons, which is perched on the edge of the Wissahickon Valley Park.
Summerside's directors work year-round to build innovative camp programs and are dedicated to creating an environment where campers will learn, thrive, and have fun. SCH Academy's faculty lead many of the camps offered, such as Feathered Friends which is organized by Lower School science teacher Marianne Maloy. Our trained coaches build teamwork, sportsmanship, and work with every camper-athlete to improve skills and build confidence.
Summerside's mission is to inspire children to be children. By having fun, building friendships, and discovering new passions, campers gain lifelong skills to become independent, confident individuals.
"I can't wait to have our campers at SCH so they can experience all the hard work we’ve done! Our team has spent a year brainstorming different types of camps and new activities, hiring and training counselors, and instilling a new sense of community into Summerside." ~ Laura Cortes, Director of Summerside Camps
Summerside Camps has been a game-changer for our family. My kids want different kinds of camp and it's tough to find all offering in the same place. My daughter fell in love with the American Doll Camp and my son wanted to try sports and cooking. We got to do it all in one location on SCH's gorgeous campus. My kids came home from Summerside happy and eager to tell me about their days!
