Capital & Endowment Giving
Foundation for our Future
Thanks to the vision and generous support from our alumni, parents, and friends of SCH, these capital renovations and equipment projects have shaped our campus home into an educational masterpiece for all who attend. SCH Academy is currently raising fund for Phase III of its Campus Master Plan.
In 2012, the Board of Trustees of SCH Academy embarked on an ambitious and comprehensive, multiphase, multiyear redesign of the school’s 62-acre campus, including new construction, facility renovation, redistribution of the academic divisions, and improved traffic flow and parking. Springside Chestnut Hill Academy has been working with local architectural firm, WRT Design, to reimagine the campus as a whole and the structures within it. The Board of Trustees, along with WRT, considered many options for the school to best share existing facilities and create new ones to serve the combined community.

our campus master plan
This video was taken by our Upper School World Champanion Robotics Team 1218 to show-case the breadth and depth of our 62-acre campus. From the Mcguire Stadium to the McCauland Lower School and into the woods, SCH covers a lot of ground, supporting an education for our youngest in Early Childhood all the way through Upper School. It takes generous support to create a campus as robust and rustic as Springside Chestnut Hill Academy.
endowment for our future
An endowed fund is a permanent source of funding for SCH Academy. Comprised of gifts and bequests, this income provides financial support to all of SCH’s programs.
Endowed funds play an important role in the School's overall development program. The annual income from these existing funds enriches the educational program, provides support for faculty, and tuition assistance for students in need. With gifts of this kind, the principal is invested in the school’s endowment portfolio and the income is utilized to support the school with the fund’s intention. These are active funds to which contributions may be made at any time. Many families continue to make gifts to a specific fund, often to honor a family member, a beloved teacher, or a scholarship fund they care about.
Giving to the SCH endowment has, and will always be, an investment in the school’s permanence and provides a vehicle for you to ensure that your priorities are funded well into the future. Such giving creates your legacy, and it strengthens ours.
