The impact of a gift goes a long way
Giving is an integral part of the success of SCH Academy. The extraordinary generosity of our community members makes SCH what it is today: a school with high expectations, strong values, and happy, hardworking students. Our students reflect a generous spirit because the adults in their lives model philanthropic behavior. Simply put, philanthropy connects people to SCH in a deeper way and makes the community stronger.
Springside School, Chestnut Hill Academy, and now SCH families have invested in the future of our school for more than 150 years to ensure the very best education for our students. Gifts to Springside Chestnut Hill Academy have invaluable impact across the campus—in every grade, in every division, and in every single department.
The SCH Fund
The SCH Fund is Springside Chestnut Hill Academy’s annual giving program and the school’s highest fundraising priority. The SCH Fund plays a crucial role in enriching the lives of our students and supports the arts, athletics, classroom resources, technology, professional development for faculty, scholarships and financial aid, and more.
Once a year, we host SCH Day—a 24-hour giving event designed to bring the community together in support of the school's students and programs. Join us on June 5, 2020, and help us reach 300 donors!
A vibrant state-of-the-art performing arts space and community venue
The ambitious renovation plans for the Rec will transform this treasured space into a multipurpose, state-of-the-art performance venue, appropriate for a wide range of musical, theatrical, and community events. A successful Restore the Rec campaign will ensure that our award-winning theater program, which is growing in stature and regional recognition, will have a performance space that appropriately showcases the talent, passion, and dedication of our students and the quality of their productions.
A student hub at the historic heart of our Upper School campus
After the completion of Phase II of the Campus Master Plan in 2019, most of the school's divisions were relocated. With the Upper School’s transition to the Inn, it became clear that more student dining and gathering space, as well as athletic/wellness enhancements, were needed to accommodate a growing student body of more than 500. This Campaign will make these enhancements possible and create a resource-rich, integrated campus experience for our students.
