ABOUT THE TEAM

The girls’ lacrosse program at SCH is based on the core principles of dedication, integrity, and sportsmanship. Emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship is at the foundation of our program and will help our athletes thrive both on and off the field.

Both the varsity and junior varsity teams focus on mastering fundamental skills while also building and developing more advanced skills and strategies for play.

We face strong competition with great Inter-Ac League members as well as non-league opposition, and we expect to consistently build upon our previous achievements and strengthen our record within the league in the years to come.

Many Blue Devil alumnae have gone on to play for excellent college programs such as UVA, Stanford, Syracuse, USC, Northeastern, Gettysburg, Washington and Lee, Duke, Villanova and many more.

Coach Elizabeth Trojan took over the Blue Devils program for the 2025-26 school year after working as an assistant coach at Temple University with the offensive unit, helping the Owls to second and third place finishes in the ACC. Coach Trojan was a standout member of the Villanova University lacrosse team from 2016-2021, serving as a two-time captain and finishing her career ranked 9th in all time scoring with 100 goals and 123 points. Her experience coaching at the college level as well as club lacrosse at the middle and high school levels brings a wealth of experience to SCH, and her ability to connect, motivate and support young women to be their best selves will be key in moving the program forward in the years to come.
