Season Record

Record: 3-1

ABOUT THE TEAM

The varsity softball team at SCH Academy has been a competitive program for over a decade, finishing its season with a winning record in each of the past nine seasons. The program has enjoyed a tremendous surge of talent recently and has earned the respect of its opponents by earning three Inter-Ac league titles and two PAISAA titles in the past six years.

A highlight of the program was capturing back-to-back Inter-Ac titles in 2017 and 2018. The team also won the PAISAA title in 2018 in an exciting extra-inning game vs. Penn Charter. In 2022, the team won both the Inter-Ac and PAISAA titles once again. The Devils had just one loss that year and outscored their opponents 146-8!

Head coach Stephanie Mill, in her 23rd year, strives to instill a strong work ethic in the athletes, and challenges each player to achieve her highest potential, both physically and mentally. Every year, the team organizes a spring break trip to Florida, Tennessee, or South Carolina, providing the players with an opportunity to play against competitive programs from all over the country. In 2022, coach Mill earned her 200th win at SCH Academy.

Mill was a 4-year starting outfielder for Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She also played competitively in the summer, facing many USA softball legends including Lisa Fernandez, Dot Richardson, Michelle Smith, and Kathy Arendsen.
