ABOUT THE TEAM

In 2017 the Blue Devils won the PAISAA State Championship for the first time in school history, finishing with a 17-3-1 overall record. Emily McNesby ’18 (University of Maryland/University of Delaware) was named League MVP, All-SEPA, All-State, and SEPA Hall of Fame Player of the Year. Grace Rorke '18 (Dartmouth) was All-SEPA. Then-coach Maria Kosmin was also named SEPA Hall of Fame Coach of the Year.

SCH tallied a 12-0 league record in 2019, clinching the Inter-Ac title for the first time, finishing with an 18-2 overall record. JoJo McShane '21 was named the League MVP, All-State, All-SEPA and was chosen to play in the 2020 High School Soccer All-American Game.

The year 2020 brought a COVID-shortened 5-0 season, but the Devils returned in 2021 with another 12-0 perfect league record and an impressive 18-0-1 overall record. This talented team won the Inter-Ac title and the PAISAA State Championship for the first time in the same season in school history. Lisa McIntyre '23 (University of Maryland) was named League MVP, All-State, and All-SEPA, while teammates Maya McDermott '22 (Syracuse/USC) was named to the HS All-American Watchlist, and Lauren Sullivan '22 (Chestnut Hill College) was All-SEPA. Coach Kosmin was named the 2021 SEPA Soccer Coaches Association Girls’ Coach of the Year.

In 2022, the Devils again won both the Inter-Ac Championship and the PAISAA State Tournament, and Lisa McIntyre '23 was named League MVP for the second year in a row. McIntyre was also named All-State and All-SEPA for 2022 and was selected to play in the High School Girls’ All-American game sponsored by BIMBO Bakeries. The Devils captured another Inter-Ac title in 2024, and Ryleigh Bakley '27 was named League MVP, as well as receiving All-State and All-SEPA honors (and in 2025). Recently, Alex de Beaulac '27 was called up to compete to represent England in the U17 MIMA Cup in February of 2026, helping to lead her squad to a 2nd place finish in the tourney, held in Spain.

Boomer Steigelman joined SCH as the team's newest head coach in 2026, following Coach Aaron Tritch's departure after a successful 2 year stint with the Blue Devils. Boomer graduated from Cabrini College and was a two-time captain for the Cavaliers. Most recently, he served as an Assistant Women's Coach at the University of Pennsylvania, and Director of Men's Soccer at St. Joseph's University. Boomer also coached at Holy Family, and was an assistant here at SCH under Maria Kosmin back in 2018. A talented athlete, he also played professionally for the MASL Rochester Lancers. Currently, he is the Girls' Youth Director at the Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals Soccer Club.
