The SCH football team is a highly competitive program in the most historic private school football league in the country, the Inter-Academic League. Since the team’s return to the Inter-Ac in 2006, the Blue Devils have been extremely successful. Our program made school history in 2009 when we won our first Inter-Ac Championship. As one of the smaller schools in the league in boys 9-12 enrollment, we take great pride in our accomplishments. Our goal is to be recognized as one of the best small-school programs in Southeastern PA.

One of the biggest factors in our success is the tight-knit football community of high-character young men. However, we also firmly believe that hard work and attention to detail are key to a winning football team and developing successful individuals later in life. Because of this philosophy, the team has often been victorious over more talented opponents from much larger schools.

The quality of the football program at SCH has also allowed dozens of players to go on to play at all levels of NCAA football. Many of these players had highly successful college—and even NFL—careers.

We are excited to take the field every fall and work tirelessly to reach our program’s team goals. Our program also aspires to live up to the standards established by our football alumni and represent SCH in a positive and honorable manner.
