"Equity is a Verb: Rethinking Cultural Literacy in the Classroom" workshop with Kandice Cole
applicable to high school educators
 
  • All workshops take place on the SCH Cherokee Campus
  • Students attending without a chaperone must pay with a credit card and must bring the SCHout Conference Permission Slip on the day of the conference.
  • $20 per participant, price includes continental breakfast and lunch.

Keynote Speaker

Kandice Cole is the founder of K. Cole Coaching and Consulting. She works with non-profit organizations to develop educational programming and curriculum. She also facilitates workshops that empower women to take creative action on their most ambitious goals. Kandice earned a B.A. in psychology and M.A. in teaching from the University of Chicago and, before transitioning to entrepreneurship, taught in elementary classrooms in Chicago and Sacramento.  Kandice's strong belief in the power of storytelling to uplift and inspire has led her to write for Tiny Buddha, 30 Second Mom and Kind Over Matter.
