SCH students win division in Math Madness competition

Six students recently won their division in an online math competition called Math Madness. Congratulations to (from left) Daniel Song ’19, Marvin Liu ’20, Owen Zhang ’19, Aatrox Wang ’20, Alena Wang ’20, and Amy Zhao ’19. Math Madness is an online, team-based event, sponsored by the American Mathematics Competitions, that takes place during the fall. High schools from across the country compete in leagues of weekly competition followed by a single elimination bracket tournament. Our bracket started with over 50 schools from across the country. The team defeated Carnegie Vanguard High School in Houston, TX, for the championship.
