  • Outstanding Young Alumna Award: Amy Padula '96

    The Outstanding Young Alumna Award recognizes the achievements of an alumna who has graduated within the last 20 years. This award should reflect a demonstrated excellence in her career and/or service to the community. 

    Amy has been on an incredible trajectory since her graduation from Springside in 1996, and we have expected nothing less from this wonderful young woman whose journey has established her as an expert on environmental exposures during pregnancy.

  • Distinguished Service Award: Anne Sudduth, Parent and Environmental Consultant

    The Distinguished Service Award recognizes an alumna or volunteer who, through her or his unselfish devotion to SCH Academy has made an outstanding contribution to the school community. 

    Thanks to Anne, the term “zero waste” is as much a part of the SCH lexicon and curriculum as reading, writing, and...well, you the know the rest!

  • Distinguished Alumna Award: Virginia Newlin '38

    The Distinguished AlumnaAward, Springside’s highest honor, is presented to Virginia Strong Newlin, Class of 1938. This award is given annually to an alumna “who has made a significant contribution in her field of interest and whose accomplishments have had an effect on the larger community.”

    The Strong family has a long history at both Springside School and Chestnut Hill Academy. Four generations have attended the school with a great-niece attending the school right now. Ginnie represents multiple generations well by living a life full of intellectual curiosity, athleticism, and a passion for nature.
