A large crowd turned out to support the Girls and Boys Basketball teams at Friday night's double header in Kingsley against Inter-Ac opponents Agnes Irwin and Germantown Academy.
The girls team defeated Agnes Irwin 51-33 on the strength of Mo'ne Davis's 22 points and Caroline Clark's 15. Ava Chavez put in 7 with Katie Reagan 4, Kara Kniezewski 3 and Layla Sawyer 2. The Blue Devils led from start to finish and had a 28-16 lead at the half. With a win a over Mastery Charter during the week, the girls have climbed up to a 5-8 record.

The second game of the night featured the boys team who defeated Germantown Academy 78-69.  The score was 31-27 SCH at the half but a monster 3rd quarter for the Blue Devils put the score at 56-38 SCH. GA made a run in the 4th but it was too little too late and the hosts came away with the Inter-Ac win.

David Robinson led the Blue Devils as well as all players with 19 points followed by Ke'Shawn Williams with 18. Zyon Grant pitched in 12, Delonce Hines 8, Jessie Balcer 7, Darius Issac 6, Jared Sprague-Lott 6, and Jack McDonald 2. The Blue Devils are now 8-9 on the season.

A large crowd of parents and students turned out to cheer on the Blue Devils. The Student Athlete Advisory Council had a "hot shot" competition at both halftimes where students shot baskets for a dress down day. All in all a great night for Blue Devil Nation!
