Ice Hockey wins 5-4; seniors Honored

The Blue Devils came back from a deficit to defeat Academy of the New Church 5-4
Ethan Gyllenhaal scored 4 goals and Liam Peterson stopped 31 shots to lead SCH to a 5-4 Independence Hockey League win. It was a must win as with a tie or loss the Blue Devils would not make the playoffs. With the win the Devils will be seated either #3 or #4.

Jonathan Brady scored SCH's opening goal and helpers went to Eva Hamel (2), Brandon DeYoung, and Brady (3). Peterson was strong in the goal as the visitors pulled their goalie and got off 5 shots but none went past Peterson and the Blue Devils won!

The five seniors were recognized with a framed action shot and rose from the athletic department. Thank you to Ethan Gyllenhaal, Eva Hamel, James Norpel, Liam Peterson, and Brandon DeYoung for your effort and commitment to SCH Ice Hockey. Thank you to managers Julia Hannigan and Morgan Brown.
