Seven students are recognized as Athletes of the Week.
Maya McDermott '22 - varsity soccer - had 5 goals and 1 assist in 3 wins over Notre Dame 6-0, Baldwin 4-0, and Hill 7-0. She had 2 goals against Notre Dame, 2 more against Baldwin, and 1 against Hill. Coach Kosmin comments, "Maya's ability to put the ball in the back of the net has significantly improved since the start of the season, and her hard work and determination is paying off." Blue Devils are 10-1 on the season.
Shannon McNally '20 - varsity field hockey- in a loss to the undefeated and #4 ranked team in PA, Hill School, she stopped 18 shots. Her play was very critical in keeping the defense together against a very strong opponent, leading the young team to a 4-4 record.
Luke Feeney '20 - varsity soccer - produced 3 assists and 1 goal in a 4-0 win over Lawrenceville and a 1-3 loss to Hill. He scored once, added 2 assists vs Lawrenceville, and added an assist against Hill. He also has created several chances in a 2-0 win over Episcopal. Coach Zalasky comments, "Luke's quiet lead-by-example leadership has been consistent from the start of the pre-season." The Blue Devils are 8-2 on the season.
Jahi Al-Uqdah '26 - cross country - finished in 9th place for the Blue Devils in a close loss to Malvern Prep. Immediately after finishing, he volunteered to direct people on the course to make sure they were not getting lost, and encouraged his teammates to cheer for the runners who were still racing.
Hank Kancher '25 - golf - shot a par in the team's 247-251 win over Devon Prep.
Macy Moderski '25 - volleyball - Had solid serving and a team-centered attitude. Macy included everyone and helped the team secure a 2-1 win over a strong Germantown Academy team.
Elizabeth Pearcy '24 - soccer - has been a great team player. She is always working hard with a smile on her face, and has played new positions in order to support her teammates. Her play and attitude have helped the team to a 2-0 record with wins over Penn Charter 7-1 and Germantown Academy 8-1.
