Athletes of the Week

Seven students are recognized as Athletes of the Week
Upper School

Sabria Epps '20 - varsity track & field - scored 24 points at the Inter-Ac Championships as she won the 400 (57.75), took second in the 100 (12.11) and placed 3rd in the 200 (25.78). She also participated in the Shot Put ending up 10th. She helped the team to a 3rd place finish.

Pat Elliott '19 varsity baseball - had the game winning single to drive in the run to beat Malvern Prep in the bottom of the 12th inning 2-1. He also played 3rd then was called to the mound in the 8th inning and pitched 5 perfect innings giving up no hits and striking out 1. He has helped the team to a 7-2 league record, 14-10 over all and a #1 seed in the upcomng PAISAA Tournament.

Nayah Moore '19 - varsity track & field - won the high jump with a jump of 5-00 for her 4th consecutive Inter-Ac title. She also placed 2nd in the triple jump (33-11.75) and 6th in the long jump (15-09.75) and threw the shot for 12th place.

Ben Rodgers '22 - JV baseball - in wins over Episcopal 6-3 and Father Judge 11-8, Ben batted in 7 runs had 4 hits and played stellar defense. He has helped the team to a 17-2-1 season record.

Stephanie DeAngelis '19 -varsity softball - went 2 for 4 at the plate, scored twice and played excellent defense at 2nd base, throwing out a runner at 3rd on an outfield cut-off. The Devils are 8-5 on the season and seeded #3 in the upcoming PAISAA Tournament.

Middle School

Djassi Dean '24 - track & field - was undefeated in the 200 & 400 with only one loss in the high jump. She won the 200, 400 and High Jump at the Inter-Ac Middle School Championships.

Matt McTamney '25 - track & field - as a 6th grader won the Inter-Ac Middle School Championship in the shot put.
