Baseball tops Malvern Prep in bottom of 12th

It took 12 innings for the Devils to defeat visiting Malvern Prep 2-1
In a memorable game that took 12 innings, Pat Elliott hit a game winning single that drove in Nasir Jackson to win the game in the bottom of the 12th. Nasir was pinch running for Julian Norwood who had walked to start the inning. Elliot also came in to relieve Carter Davis in the 8th inning and pitched 5 excellent  innings giving up no hits and striking out 1. Davis also did a fantastic job as he scattered 3 hits walked 7 and struck out 3. He battled through 2 bases loaded situations.

Scott Bandura had the hot bat as he had 3 hits. In additon to Elliots game winning single, other Devils to record hits were Jahli Hendricks, Brandon Gibbs, Sam Aslanson, and Cole McNeil. Jared Sprague-Lott drove in the Devils first run in the 1st inning.

SCH hosts Episcopal and Penn Charter in the Inter-Ac and they sit with a 6-2 league record. They are 12-9 overall.
