In an exciting match, the Blue Devils went down 33-11 after 8 bouts but came storming back, winning 5 of the next 6 to narrowly lose 36-39. Simon Kioko at 126 won by a fall and Luke Purcell won by a tech fall to get the hosts on the board with 11 points. EA got on the board with a tech fall at 106 and fallls at 113, 138, 145 and  forfeits at 120 and 152. One of the Blue Devil's aces, Marco Goldberg, was not able to wrestle due to an injury.

Tyler Guzik won a major decison at 160 to give the Bue Devils 4 team points and possibly the match of the night went to Joe McDermott when he won an exciting 6-4 overtime decision. Will Neverosky, Joe Cassidy and Pat Ferns all won by fall to give SCH a 36-33 edge with one bout left. Mac Levin, really a light 220 lber, bumped up to take on EA's heavy weight and did a great job but got caught and the visitors escaped with a 39-36 win. Two forfeits to the Churchmen at 120 and 152 were the difference.

It was a special night as our five seniors were recognized for their commitment to the wrestling program before the match.  All seniors recieved a framed action shot and a rose from the athletic department. Congratulations and thank you to Simon Kioko, Luke Purcell, Kieron Cook, Jamison Wade, and Joe McDermott, you will all be missed next year.  Shout out to senior managers, Valentin Stolte and Ken Barrist.
