SCH Academy's Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) has traditionally celebrated the culmination of our sophomore Capstone curriculum by offering a Capstone Showcase each semester. These student-created innovative products, nonprofits, apps, services, and more are developed as a means to solve real-world problems—and are prototyped for this showcase!
This year, we highlighted our faculty-selected Capstone projects and gave them a chance to win our CEL People's Choice Award. From a class of over 35, these 13 projects were selected as the best in their studio (App, New Media, Invention, Social Impact, Startup) and CEL mindset awards (which takes into consideration students who are using this skills in opportunity-seeking, teamwork, creativity, resourcefulness, and resiliency).
These students were selected for this online voting opportunity by their CEL faculty who chose ones that exemplified the CEL program. Read their comments below...
The CEL Capstone Showcase features student-created innovative products, nonprofits, apps, services, and more that are developed as a means to solve real-world problems. The showcase is running slightly differently than previous years. Typically, all 30-plus projects would be up for voting, but this year it was limited to the selected 13 projects that won a CEL Studio or Mindset Award. These winners were hand-selected by their CEL faculty advisors for their dedication, academic prowess, and entrepreneurial mindset. See all our Spring 2023 Capstone Winners below (and read what faculty had to say)...

On Saturday, October 5, 9:00 AM, SCH will partner with Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) to close an eroding section of the Wissahickon trail by planting native trees and shrubs. No experience is needed. FOW will provide gloves, tools, and instruction – all you need to do is show up.
