SCH Academy is proud to host the first annual Kids Literacy Fun Fest, an afternoon of family fun to kick off the summer season and Juneteenth weekend, benefitting the Horizons at SCH Academy’s summer academic program and featuring a line up of Philly children’s authors and bookstores cultivated by Auggie Bear Publishing. This community festival will include activities sponsored by local youth organizations with music and dancing with Baby Loves Disco. The Kids Literacy Fun Fest is a fun and educational community event promoting family engagement and connections with local authors to raise awareness about literacy and the Horizons at SCH program in a fun, interactive festival environment.

Event Details: The Kids Literacy Fun Fest will take place on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 12:00-3:00 PM at SCH Academy’s Lower School Commons, located at 8000 Cherokee Street Philadelphia PA 19118. All are invited and admission is free. All proceeds from refreshments sold will go to the Horizons at SCH summer academic program, serving students from under-resourced schools in the local community.
