Welcome campers!
For over two decades, Springside Chestnut Hill (SCH) Academy has provided quality summer camps on its beautiful campus, which is adjacent to Fairmount Park’s Wissahickon watershed. Summerside campers have the opportunity to enjoy the robust 62-acre experience by utilizing our unique playspaces, participating in woodland projects, and hiking trails and the natural habitat of its indigenous plants and animals.
In addition to our much loved Day Camp, Summerside Camps offers a wide-variety of specialty camps from robotics to ceramics and more! Check out all our 2023 specialty camp offerings below.

Day Camp
Summerside Day Camp is our summer-long, traditional day camp program built especially for campers entering PK-5th grade. Each week has a new theme with exciting activities and games, ranging from superhero water fights to Olympic games to talent shows. Campers are split into coed groups based by grade level: PK & K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. At Summerside Day Camp, we take full advantage of SCH Academy's 62-acre campus—indoors and out! This means full access to SCH Academy’s indoor and outdoor rock walls, ropes course, archery, the Wissahickon trails, and so much more. Please note: Pre-K (PK) campers must be 3 years old by September 1, 2023 to enroll. (All camp ages are by rising grades.)
