Student Experience
Ms. Kimberly’s room is a place where all of our distractions can disappear. Coming in here and dropping our bags on the floor is the most relieving feeling ever. It’s our home where we can be vulnerable and talk about any of our problems with one another, whether it’s with our friends during lunch and SAS, or with our advisory in the mornings. Our laughter resonates throughout the halls of the Inn and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

What Makes Us Different
Senior Speech
Every senior has the chance to give a speech to the whole Upper School. Every other assembly there are at least 1-3 seniors who deliver a 2-4 minute speech. Here is just a sample of one of those speeches. (In 2020, during COVID, SCH pivoted to online speeches and will hopefully return to in-person speeches soon.)
Girls' Soccer Inter-Ac Champs
In 2019 and 2021, the Girls' Varsity Soccer team won the Inter-Ac title. The team had a great sense of pride, passion and bonding. The SCH Blue Devils are a integral part of the Upper School experience, whether you play a team sport, run track, or enjoy the outdoors.
Blue and Gold Day
Blue and Gold Day is iconic for the girls of SCH. Every year, the campus transforms into a sea of blue and gold confetti and spirt. The day starts with a cheering for one's colors and ends with a victorious blue or gold team. One the same day, the boys of SCH celebrate Blue & Blue Day. Learn more here.
Outward Bound
At the start of the school year, all 9th-grade students participate in a five-day Outward Bound expedition that encourages student bonding and builds resiliency. Our partnership with Outward Bound ensures that the program is an intentional, safe, and dynamic experience.
