explore Our Academics
Students have the powerful ability to express themselves and should be given timely and expert guidance to make it happen. I believe that they should be known, nurtured, and challenged.

Learn About Our ECC
Lower SchoolSCH teachers are the heart of our Lower School classrooms. Within the walls of our state-of-the-art McCausland Lower School, our Pre-K to grade 4 students explore and learn in single-sex classrooms designed with their developmental needs and preferences in mind.
Middle SchoolThe Middle School hallways at SCH are filled with joy, energy, and academic passion. SCH continues to be committed to a single-sex academic experience in grades 5-8, while also carving out opportunities for boys and girls to work together in purposeful ways.
Upper SchoolLearning at SCH takes many forms—on the banks of the Wissahickon Creek studying the pH of Philadelphia's water and across campus in the Rorer Building's Robotics Lab, home to the 2019 World Robotics Championship Team 1218. Our students use the full range of experiences available to them on our 62-acre campus to perform, explore, laugh, question, and learn.
