SCH’s Community Council chose the theme “Thinking Out Loud” for this year’s SCHout conference, which tackles issues of identity and social justice. The conference will challenge SCH students to speak their minds, even when it feels hard to do so, in order to engage in fruitful dialogue around issues of diversity. SCH welcomes high school and 8th grade students from around the region to hear a keynote from Kandice Cole, participate in a story exchange designed to cultivate radical empathy, and engage in meaningful dialogue throughout the day in a series of student-led social action workshops.
