Artist Statement:
I have never gone to throw with an idea in mind of what I wanted to make. Even when I am in the middle of centering the clay I still don’t know what I am going to do. Sometimes this process works out and other times it fails. Either way, everything I have made was in the spur of the moment. It is not until an idea pops into my head on what I want to do that I realize what I have made. This is one of the reasons why I love Ceramics. When I am in Ceramics, I feel relaxed and I can go with the flow of whatever I am feeling that day. There are no expectations and sometimes in the end, I create something really cool.
