This week, SCH Robotics Team 1218 unveiled its theme for this season, dubbed “Crystallized.”

This season, FIRST introduced its own theme for this year, “AGE,” centered on archaeology and rediscovering the past. Team 1218 chose Crystallized as its theme to not only match FIRST’s seasonal branding but also to highlight important aspects of the team.

“The goal of Crystallized is to rediscover the foundations of the team and highlight the gems who brought us to this point,” said robotics outreach team co-lead Leela Gilbert-Gokhale. “We want to honor our history and traditions through a fresh lens inspired by gems, caverns, crystals, and the brilliance of geology.”

Crystallized is not just a visual makeover, though. With custom shirts (available to purchase), a bedazzled minecart to bring the Crystallized spirit to competitions, and a redesigned crystal-cave-themed pit, Team 1218 is ready to carry Crystallized brilliance everywhere it goes.

With bold new team shirts, vibrant visuals, and even louder team spirit, Team 1218 is ready to face the rock-solid competition and truly shine like gems.
