They're Off: The Class of 2023! 

On Jun 10, 2023, Board of Trustee Chair Patrick Lindsay and Head of School Delvin Dinkins presented 125 students with the official diploma of Springside Chestnut Hill Academy.  And now, the Class of 2023 will head to colleges and universities across the country and Canada to pursue their passions—academically and athletically. We wish them all the very best as they write their next chapter!

Highlights provided by this year’s college counseling team include:

• 90% of the class was admitted to one of their two top-choice colleges.
• 125 seniors were admitted to 186 different colleges and will attend 76 different institutions. 
• 36 members of the Class of 2023 were admitted to one or more “hyper-selective” schools whose admit rates are less than 15%.
• 36 athletes in the Class of 2023 will pursue their passion at the collegiate level next year.
• A total of 70 applications were submitted to HBCU schools, 14 students were accepted, and 7 students will attend.
  (Interestingly: The number of HBCU applications submitted by SCH students has increased from 10 applications to 70 applications in just 7 years.)
