“Did you know one of the top robotics teams in the country is right here in Philadelphia?”

So began the clip featuring SCH’s Team 1218 on PHL17’s early morning LIVE news program with reporter Alex Butler. Once again, the robotics team rose to the occasion and met a super enthusiastic Butler before school to tour the lab.

Butler’s visit included checking out a senior’s from-scratch go-cart, the progress on our 4-person airplane, an underwater robot conceived and built in the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership capstone and Venture Accelerator, and, of course, the robot that went to Worlds and helped the school take home the 2019 World Robotics Championship title.
