Summer Sizzles: CEL's Paris Gramann combats inner city challenges with two innovative projects

This week’s  “Summer Sizzle” features Paris Gramann, Entrepreneur in Residence / Assistant Director of CEL, who teaches Social Impact Entrepreneurship to 6th and 10th grade students and guides 11th & 12th grade students in the Venture Accelerator program. Ms. Paris, as the students call her, is walking the talk by devoting energy to her small business, "Empower Creative Agency LLC,”  and working on two innovative research projects with Drexel University. The first is a functional backpack that converts to a privacy screen for moms in transitional housing and veterans in transitional housing as well. Drexel grad and undergrad students have created a prototype indoor hydroponic system for areas in food deserts and her role with this second project is to help launch the prototype to market.

A patent is pending for the prototype!

Watch Paris explain her projects here.
