Students Help Impart Important Lessons on New Program on Public Television

Tune in to see some of our students on a mission to help young children navigate big emotions on public television! 

Coming this month to WHYY-TV 12, Albie’s Elevator, a new original kids’ program created locally,  invites kids to follow the everyday challenges and triumphs of a young elevator operator, Albie. The crew visited SCH in January to film some of our Middle School robotics students “doing hard things” for the episode entitled “Puzzle Picture Perfect,” which will air on June 19.

Each episode begins in the elevator, as Albie—excited to begin a new adventure—encounters a problem she’s not sure how to navigate. Geared toward children ages two to five, Albie’s Elevator has a particular focus on social-emotional learning.

Our episode will appear both on WHYY's TV broadcast channel as well as its YouTube channel!
