Student Businesses Featured on CBS News

Our students aren't just creating new businesses in CEL, they're effecting positive change in the process. CEL businesses benefitting others, from pediatric cancer patients to seniors who need assistance with tech, were the subject of a recent "Focusing on the Future" segment with Wakisha Bailey on CBS News Philadelphia.

"They can be that change that they want to see," says CEL director Ed Glassman in the news clip. "And that change happens locally, in their backyard."

Even the news anchors were impressed by our students' commitment to making the world a better place. After the clip aired, one commented: "We've done stories with SCH before, and it's amazing how they turn out talented student after talented student."
