Spotlight on Jackson Erdos ’25: From SCH Lifer to American Ninja Warrior

This summer, SCH Academy alumnus and “lifer” Jackson Erdos ’25 competed on the national stage as a competitor on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior (ANW). Erdos has made a name for himself over the past 11 years, winning season 3 of the junior edition of ANW, competing on season 14, and, more recently, making it to the World Ninja League World Championships on season 17—earning him recognition as one of the show’s top young athletes.

Erdos’ journey on ANW: Season 17 unfolded across multiple episodes, beginning with a spotlight on his life and motivation in June. That month, the “Philly Phenom” was also interviewed on NBC Philadelphia, and throughout the summer, he had many standout moments on ANW, including on July 28 (his best run!) and during the finals in August.

When he’s not competing, Jackson channels his passion into coaching more than 40 young athletes at his home gym, Gravity Forge, while also preparing for international competitions in Germany, Barbados, Dubai, and beyond.

Reflecting on life after SCH and what’s next, Jackson shares, “Everyone gets so nervous about graduating, college, and planning the future. But it’s not always black and white. My advice is to follow the path that makes you happy. For me, that means traveling, meeting new people, and inspiring others—especially those struggling with mental health. Being an amazing athlete is one thing, but being an amazing person is what I want to be known for.”

We were thrilled to cheer on Jackson this summer as he inspired viewers across the country with his strength, determination, and heart. We can’t wait to see what’s next for this remarkable SCH alumnus.
