Solving Problems: SCH Math Teams Come out on Top

SCH fielded two teams in Temple University's 12th annual math OWLympiad earlier this week. Eight members of the Class of 2024 traveled to the Fox School of Business on Monday to compete alongside more than 30 teams from the Philadelphia area. After three rounds of a 50-minute, 70-question group test on everything from algebra to calculus to probability; a "24" math card game; and an oral, eight-question Quizbowl, SCH teams came out on top: One team of four students tied for second and the other SCH team came in fifth.

Participating juniors were Ward Dobeck, Arjun Goswami, David Xin, Stone Xin, Hudson Barry, Shaun Gupte, Cameron Harrop, and Will Kollmar. Congrats to these math whizzes!
