Seniors and their buddies decorate cookies!

Seniors and their pre-k to 1st grade buddies started winter break off right, with a healthy dose of buddy cuteness, cookie decorating, and joy! After cookie-eating, boys and girls went to their winter assemblies where they sang and rang-in the holiday with cheer. 

Every senior student is assigned to one or two lower school buddies, a boy and a girl together, giving our lower school students a buddy to look up to and our seniors a student to mentor. Their relationship starts at the beginning of the year with a picnic, sprinkled with events throughout the year such as this one, Halloween, reading and more, and finishes with picture-framing making where they can keep pictures of each other to remember.
