SCH Chess Team Wins PA State Championship Trophies

SCH’s chess team dominated at last weekend's 2026 Pennsylvania State Scholastic Championships on March 6 and 7 in Harrisburg, PA. 59 Pennsylvania schools were represented, and SCH won 1st place in three competitions. Many individual players were also awarded, with Shervin Medizad and Hugo Dybas now holding “Championship” status in Pennsylvania.

Congratulations to all of our chess players! Many thanks to our dedicated families, Coach Colby, and Assistant Coach Bergmann for making the weekend trip possible and for ushering our team to success. Go Blue Devils Chess!
