Sarah Shoff, Laurelei president, plans to study vocal performance at either McGill University or Oberlin Conservatory in the fall. She will continue pursuing her love of performance in college, but her work will be more classically focused on her study of opera. “I love performing because I get to connect with so many new people through my music. I’m often quite shy, but when I sing, I become a new, more confident person. I plan to continue singing in choirs and a cappella groups because I have loved my time in Laurelei and Chamber Singers at SCH,” says Shoff.
Most recently, Shoff appeared as Cinderella onstage with the SCH Players in Into the Woods this past March. You can next see her performing a small role in the upcoming production of Henry Purcell's Dido and Aeneas on June 3 and 4 at the Unitarian Society of Germantown with Opera Box!
