Robotics Student Wins Big at District Competition

A robotics student was singled out at this past weekend's Hatboro-Horsham district competition for his leadership and dedication to the team. Devin Gibson '24, who went through a nomination process that was ultimately approved by Team 1218, won the FIRST Dean’s List award. He is now eligible to compete at the FIRST Mid-Atlantic Championship and, if chosen, could be one of four to compete at the FIRST World Championships.

"Being nominated by the mentors and team in the first place was extremely special," said Devin. "While it certainly feels wonderful to have won the Dean’s List award, I’m just happy to be able to contribute to SCH Robotics by whatever means possible. I am so proud of our team and the people on it!"
