Six seniors who have been committed to art studies throughout their Upper School years were celebrated last night at our “Senior Wall Ceremony.” Their art is currently on display in the Barbara Crawford Gallery, along with an artist statement. Students were given an opportunity to share a bit about their journey as an artist and recognized the important role of the arts faculty who inspired, guided, and challenged them.
Thank you for sharing your talent with the school community: Wesley Jordan, Iris Wilde, Amanda Cooney, Ama Turner, Tess Fairlee, and Meena Padhye. To Wesley and Iris, we look forward to following your passion in the years to come as you pursue your talents at The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and Parsons School of Design.
