We are thrilled to share that SCH’s CEL Executive Director Ed Glassman was named to Philly’s “40 Under 40” list by the Philadelphia Business Journal (PBJ) which released its list of award winners this week.
The PBJ recognizes the region’s up-and-coming leaders each year with its annual awards program. Glassman was selected from over 315 nominations comprising all manner of professions, from lawyers and real estate brokers to sports executives to nonprofit leaders and tech disruptors. “Collectively, the 2024 honorees’ work is full of remarkable accomplishments that forecast a bright future for the region as a whole," stated the PBJ in the announcement.
"Ed being named one of Philly’s '40 under 40' reflects his pioneering spirit and enterprising mindset," says Head of School Delvin Dinkins. "In all he does, he combines a sharp intellect with a winning attitude, hard work, and heart work. This is consistent with the character of our school. As executive director of the Sands Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, Ed delivers excellence and inspires it in our students."
The magazine will release its May issue, including profiles of the award winners, at a celebration on May 10 and we will be able to share Glassman’s nomination details at that time. For now, we will celebrate our tremendous good fortune to have such an accomplished leader working with our students, and look forward to providing more in May!
