Take Care Tuesday Wellness Email
Good morning SCH Academy,
As we enter May, we are excited to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM). This year, the theme is “Where to Start,” focusing on empowering you with resources and strategies to prioritize your mental well-being. In today’s fast-paced and sometimes unsettling world, it’s crucial to take time for self-care and to build resilience. Mental health is just as important as your physical health, and we want to ensure that you have the tools and support you need.
Throughout the month of May, we will be hosting a variety of activities in the Middle and Upper Schools. Please see the calendar attached, as well as posted around the school, to find out what events are happening when. We encourage you to actively participate in these events and notice changes within when you give yourself some form of self-care.

In addition, we have provided some resources and tools from Mental Health America that we thought may be helpful.

Let’s make Mental Health Awareness Month a time of learning, growth, and self-care. Together, we can create a supportive environment where everyone feels heard and valued. Here’s wishing you a month filled with positivity, resilience, and self-discovery.
Take care and be well,
