Curious Learners: Faculty and Staff Pursue Professional Development

This summer, many SCH faculty continued their commitment to being lifelong learners by pursuing a variety of professional development opportunities, from conferences to trips in the U.S. and abroad. The experiences they gained, which included attending leadership institutes, publishing a book, and conducting field research, will be used to enrich classroom learning in the months and years to come.

Among the highlights were a faculty-led leadership institute, an English teacher's river sojourn, and a physics teacher's astrobiology workshop. Their dedication to professional growth and bringing new knowledge back to campus sets an important example for the student body.
