Cum Laude Society Ceremony Honors Top Students
This past Friday, 13 SCH juniors and 11 seniors were inducted into the school’s esteemed Cum Laude Society. They joined the 11 seniors inducted last year as juniors.
The Cum Laude Society recognizes academic achievement for the purpose of promoting excellence, justice, and honor. Scott Stein, science department chair, provided the faculty remarks which were delivered with his signature wit and style. Stein was elected to receive honorary status in the society by last year’s inductees; math teacher Ian Kreher is the 2023 faculty inductee.
A Cum Laude Society member, senior Hans Bode stunned the audience with his spectacular performance of Fantasie Impromptu by Frédéric Chopin; you can enjoy it here.
