“Lead with love,” Head of School Steve Druggan told SCH students during Convocation last fall. At Commencement on June 6, he brought that message full circle, asking the seniors to “leave with love” as he and Board of Trustees Chair Patrick Lindsay awarded diplomas to the 133 graduating students.
“As we head ‘beyond the blue,’ don’t leave these five pillars along the Willow Grove brick walkway," said Sebastian Small '26, one of two student Commencement speakers. "Take the courage to sit with someone new. Use your resilience when you fail your first big challenge. Lean into the diversity of the new people you meet. Maintain your integrity when the pressure is on. And always, always lead with thoughtfulness.”
