CEL Teacher Featured by PBS News Student Reporting Labs in March 

Julie Knutson, CEL teacher and member of PBS News Student Reporting Labs (SRL) Global Educator Advisory Board, was spotlighted as SRL's March Teacher of the Month. 

Alongside other members of the board, Knutson is currently working on a Global Toolkit "to help educators nurture global citizens and storytellers in their classrooms—primarily in the U.S.—by emphasizing the importance of community reporting with a global perspective," she says.

StoryMaker is a learning platform developed by SRL to build the next generation of media creators.
