Buddies Bid Farewell

Last week, we celebrated, as head of Upper School Matt Norcini put it, "the first in a series of goodbyes that mark the end of the school year and the transition of our seniors from being SCH students to being adults in the world beyond us." 

At the start of the academic year, each senior is assigned to one or two Lower School buddies. They get together for select events on campus, from Convocation to Halloween to the holiday assemblies. They get to know one another with each meeting and, at the final event in April, the farewell, they decorate photo frames in which they can place a photo of their time together. At last week's farewell, buddies caught up as they colored, discussing graduation, the tooth fairy, finals, and boo-boos.
