Four students are recognized as athletes of the week for the week ending November 14, 2020.
Julia Wilbekaitis '21 - soccer - earned two shutouts this week: 5-0 vs Notre Dame and 2-0 vs Agnes Irwin. In both of these games, she made some big saves but also organized the back line of consistently different players as well as distributing the ball to start the attack. Julia has helped the team to a 5-0 record.
Veronica Gula '24 - cross country - for the third week in a row, she finished in second place for the Blue Devils in the tri-meet against Episcopal and Agnes Irwin. Veronica completed the course in 21:05—22 seconds ahead of the third place finisher. 23 girls raced in total.
Bobby Markey '21 - football - was the top receiver for SCH in the Blue Devils 13-3 loss to Haverford with six catches for 85 yards. On defense he had three tackles. Bobby has been a consistent leader for the team all season.
Devyn Conlan '25 - field hockey - from her midfield position, she scored two of the team's goals—including the game winner on a penalty shot in the Blue Devils 4-3 win over Penn Charter. Devyn has been a consistent performer at midfield for the team.
