Girls' Afternoon of Service
The tradition continues of rolling up sleeves and dedicating an afternoon to service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., same joy and positive energy from the Lower School Girls' Afternoon of Service. Thanks for all the parent volunteers, Chef Samara and Chef Steve, and all the many hands that made light work.
Pre-K and K assembled 221 breakfast bags for Chestnut Hill Meals On Wheels, grades 1-4 assembled 161 dinners for Aid for Friends, and the collective SCH community gathered 11 bags stuffed with outerwear for DeSales Works in Camden, NJ.
Each and every year our elementary students work together to make the Friday before MLK Day one of the most impactful days of the year.
