ECC's First Week

With the inaugural class opening January 6, 2020, 16 toddlers got to experience a week of Reggio Emilia preschool at SCH Academy. These happy, smiling children explored the new world around them guided by their interests and curiosity and shaped by the teachers and parents around them. 

They met new friends and teachers, painted, read, built, played outside (when it wasn't freezing), ate, and learned! Enjoy the below slideshow of activities that took place during their first week at SCH. They even got a special visit from the Middle School boys, who read them stories and gave them the chance to get to know some of their schoolmates who inhabit the buildings around their own.
