Diversity & Inclusion

Across all divisions and departments, SCH values the importance of diversity in all aspects of the word. As one of the most diverse schools in the Inter-Ac, SCH's Upper School offers multiple opportunities to engage (some optional and some intensionally woven into advisory and curriculum). Whether it's a student-leader for the Moments of Understanding, a quarterly approach to engaging with students about race, religion, sexual-orientation, socio-economic impact; joining for the SCHout Conference, an annual student-led and run diversity conference; or walking into the Diversity & Inclusion Office for check-in, chat, or group hang—Diversity is one of SCH's core values and found threaded throughout our mission statement. We teach and encourage our students to be inclusive, curious, and thoughtful.
