Advisory

Advisory

Every upper school student at SCH is placed into a small (10-12 person), single-sex advisory with a faculty advisor who stays with the group for all fours years of Upper School.

The bond of the SCH advisory is unlike any and is a special experience for the group and the faculty member.

Advisories meet roughly twice a week for discussions, reflective projects, and group activities. There's plenty of chances for students to hang-out, chat, relax and bond over celebrations or excuses for food.

Advisors oversee the academic and extracurricular life of their advisees and are the point person for students' families. Special bonds often develop and are nurtured for the four years they're together.
